BAF BASE BANGABANDHU, Bangladesh (Jan. 28, 2015) - Two Bangladesh F-7BG Defenders, a BAF C-130B Hercules, and two U.S. Air Force C-130H Hercules aircraft prepare to take off during Exercise COPE SOUTH. SEPANGGAR, Malaysia (Jan. 22, 2015) - Boatswain’s Mate 3rd Class Janie Saldivar, a native of De Queen, Ark., stands by on the forecastle of the dock landing ship USS Comstock (LSD 45) while the ship is moored for a port visit. Comstock, part of the Makin Island Amphibious Ready Group, is on a deployment with the 11th Marine Expeditionary Unit (MEU) to promote peace and freedom of the seas by providing security and stability in the U.S. 7th Fleet area of operations.

US, Cambodia commence Pacific Angel 16 humanitarian assistance mission

Royal Cambodia Air Forces and U.S. forces gather together Sept 8 for a safety briefing prior to beginning of Pacific Angel 13-5 Cambodia. Sixteen U.S. forces engineers will work alongside 20 Royal Cambodia Armed Forces engineers to renovate three health centers in Takeo. PACANGEL is a joint and combined humanitarian assistance operation held in various countries several times a year and includes medical, dental, optometry, and engineering support programs and various subject-matter expert exchanges.
