Sea Dragon anti-submarine warfare (ASW) competition participants pose for a group photo after the “Dragon Belt” was awarded to the Japan Maritime Self-Defense Force (JMSDF) for earning the highest average score all given ASW criteria, March 23. Participating nations include Royal Canadian Air Force, Indian Navy, JMSDF, Republic of Korea Navy, and the United States. Sea Dragon is a U.S.-led, multinational exercise designed to practice and discuss anti-submarine warfare tactics to operate together in response to traditional and non-traditional maritime security challenges in the Indo-Pacific region.

The Joint Technical Analysis and Integration Cell from the U.S. military’s premier all hazards command empowers combined joint task force operations to locate, identify and eliminate Weapons of Mass Destruction. The integration cell, which is part of the 20th Chemical, Biological, Radiological, Nuclear, Explosives (CBRNE) Command, provides the information necessary to accomplish Combined Joint Task Force-Elimination missions.

3rd ASOS prepares Airmen beyond tactical edge with arctic training exercise
U.S. Air Force Staff Sgt. John Engerraan, 3rd Air Support Operations Squadron sensors and effects team supervisor, and Airman 1st Class Cameron St Amand, 3 ASOS precision strike operator, survey the area during an arctic training in Delta Junction, Alaska, March 22, 2023.
