U.S., Australian airmen practice SAR capabilities during Exercise Cope North
ANDERSEN AIR FORCE BASE, Guam (Feb. 15, 2015) - Aeromedical personnel from the U.S. Air Force and Royal Australian Air Force, transfer a simulated downed pilot from a U.S. Navy MH-60S Knighthawk during a multinational search and rescue exercise at Cope North 15. Cope North 15 enhances humanitarian assistance and disaster relief crisis response capabilities between six nations and lays the foundation for regional cooperation expansion during real-world contingencies in the Asia-Pacific Region.

South Korean Admirals, Generals visit Andersen Air Force Base, Guam
ANDERSEN AIR FORCE BASE, Guam (Jan. 30, 2015) - U.S. Air Force Col. Reid Langdon, 36th Operations Group commander, discusses Andersen missions to a member of a Korean National Defense University class composed of nearly 100 new generals and admirals. The class visited Andersen as a capstone event that allowed them to meet with U.S. military leaders both at Andersen and U.S. Pacific Command at Joint Base Pearl Harbor-Hickam, Hawaii, to learn about key issues and capabilities.

Guam Navy Commands Win 2016 Environmental Stewardship Flagship Award
In this file photo, Yeoman 1st Class Erik Estrada, far right, assigned to the submarine tender USS Frank Cable (AS 40), helps local volunteers pack mulch into bags in the village of Dededo, Guam. Frank Cable Sailors teamed up with volunteers from Island Girl Power, a local community service program for young girls, to clean and renovate a series of parks. Frank Cable, forward deployed to the island of Guam, conducts maintenance and support of submarines and surface vessels deployed to the U.S. 7th Fleet area of responsibility.

Exercise GUAMEX
In this file courtesy photo, Arleigh Burke-class guided-missile destroyer USS Pinckney (DDG 91) and Japan Maritime Self-Defense Force (JMSDF) ships conduct tactical maneuvers during GUAMEX 2014 in waters near Guam. Pinckney and JMSDF ships Kongo (DDG 173), Murasame (DD 101), Ikazuchi (DD 107), Akebono (DD 108), Ariake (DD 109), Akizuki (DD 115) and Shimakaze (DDG 172) are participating part in GUAMEX 2014, an operation aimed at enhancing the interoperability of the U.S. Navy and JMSDF and strengthening personnel ties between the respective forces.
