'Dreadnaught' battalion takes home lessons from Korean gunnery exercise
POCHEON, Republic of Korea -- An M1A2 Abrams tank from 2nd Battalion, 34th Armor Regiment, 1st Armored Brigade Combat Team, 1st Infantry Division, fires its main weapons system during a live-fire training exercise at the Rodriguez Live Fire Complex Nov. 30. The battalion conducted the large-scale, life-fire exercise as part of a 30-day rotation to the RLFC in order to remain qualified on their main weapons systems and be ready to "Fight Tonight" in support of the 2nd Inf. 'Dreadnaught' battalion takes home lessons from Korean gunnery exercise
POCHEON, Republic of Korea -- An M2 Bradley Infantry Fighting Vehicle from 2nd Battalion, 34th Armor Regiment, 1st Armored Brigade Combat Team, 1st Infantry Division, conducts a live-fire gunnery range at the Rodriguez Live Fire Complex Nov. 19. The battalion is the first of many from the 1st ABCT, 1st Inf. Div. to conduct a 30-day rotation at the RLFC and will continue to train on their weapons systems in order to deter regional aggression, maintain peace on the Korean peninsula and, if needed, "Fight Tonight" in support of the 2nd Inf.
