MELBOURNE, Australia - From right to left, U.S. Marine Corps Cpl. Harley Grim, an aviation maintenance database specialist, Sgt. Noah Johnson and Lance Cpl. Kai Pua, both aircrew chiefs, and Sgt. Zedrick Sherman, a mobility logistics chief, all with Marine Medium Tiltrotor Squadron (VMM) 268 Reinforced (Rein.), Marine Rotational Force – Darwin 26, present the colors during a 9/11 memorial service at the Shrine of Remembrance in Melbourne, Australia, Sept. 10, 2026. MRF-D is an annual six-month rotational deployment to enhance interoperability with the Australian Defence Force and allies and partners and provide a forward-postured crisis response force in the Indo-Pacific.
