SCHOFIELD BARRACKS, Hawaii - Brig. Gen. Ray Phariss, deputy commanding general, 311th Signal Command (Theater), and other senior leaders receive a capability briefing from an industry partner during the 2nd Mobile Brigade Tech Expo at Schofield Barracks, Hawaii, June 15, 2026. Held as part of the Lightning Surge 4 operational demonstration, the expo allowed Soldiers and leaders to review and integrate emerging next-generation command and control (NGC2) capabilities, ensuring the division accelerates decision cycles and increases operational effectiveness.
