MISAWA AIR BASE, Japan - U.S. Air Force C-130J Super Hercules assigned to the 36th Airlift Squadron sit on the flightline during Exercise Beverly Sunrise 22-04 at Misawa Air Base, Japan, May 12, 2022. Agile Combat Employment is the result of the 2018 National Defense Strategy instructing services to alter their posture and transition from a large, centralized, unhardened infrastructure to smaller, dispersed, resilient, adaptive basing.
