Pararescuemen assigned to the 38th Rescue Squadron jump from the back of a C-130J Super Hercules for over-water personnel recovery operations during Exercise Pacific Angel, near Kuantan Air Base, Malaysia, Aug. 17, 2022. The objective was to reach a Rigging Alternate Method Boat, or RAMB, which is a deflated Combat Rubber Raiding Craft that can be dropped by parachute into the water and inflated upon landing.

Pacific Air Forces delivers COVID-19 mitigation supplies to assist Timor-Leste
U.S. Air Force Airmen in the Indo-Pacific partnered with the U.S. Embassy Timor-Leste to deliver medical supplies to assist with the mitigation of Covid-19. A large part of the support in prepping and delivering 109 boxes of supplies was performed by Airmen assigned to the 374th Airlift Wing out of Yokota Air Base, Japan. Pacific Air Forces’ units and their Airmen have worked for more than seven decades with other countries in the region to maintain a safe, free and open Indo-Pacific.

Cope South 2022 enhances U.S., Bangladesh Air Force Tactical Airlift Interoperability
U.S. Air Force Tech Sgt. Seth Sarret, 36th Expeditionary Airlift Squadron jumpmaster, observes Bangladesh armed forces members as they jump from a C-130J Super Hercules during a high altitude, low opening (HALO) jump as part of Exercise Cope South 2022, Feb. 22, 2022, over Bangladesh. U.S. and Bangladesh air forces (BAF) conducted static line and HALO jumps during the exercise. The bilateral exercise provides an opportunity for Pacific Air Forces and the BAF to strengthen their relationship and enhance interoperability, to operate more effectively together when needed.
