Dive Det Bravo ensures cables are safe at Pacific Missile Range Facility Barking Sands
KAUAI, Hawaii (July 6, 2016) - Construction Mechanic 1st Class Matthew Ramirez, with Underwater Construction Team 2 Construction Dive Detachment Bravo (UCT2 CDDB), fastens protective split piping around submerged cables at the Pacific Missile Range Facility Barking Sands. UCT2 CDDB is assigned to the 30th Naval Construction Regiment under Commander, Task Force (CTF) 75, the primary expeditionary task force responsible for the planning and execution of coastal riverine operations, explosive ordnance disposal, diving, engineering and construction, and underwater construction in the U.S. 7th fleet area of responsibility.

Pacific Partnership
160630-N-BB534-836 LEGAZPI CITY, Philippines -- Army Col. Lisa Franklin, gives a presentation during the Joint Disaster Management Symposium at Bicol Regional Training and Teaching Hospital. The symposium gave Pacific Partnership 2016 personnel, members of the Armed Forces of the Philippines, and local medical personnel the chance to have an open dialogue about disaster management relief, in a medical context. Pacific Partnership is visiting the Philippines for the seventh time since its first mission in 2006. Partner nations are working side-by-side with local military and non-government organizations to conduct cooperative health engagements, community relation events and subject matter expert exchanges to better prepare for a natural disaster or crisis.

Great Green Fleet arrives at Pearl Harbor for RIMPAC
PEARL HARBOR, Hawaii (June 28, 2016) - Fire Controlman 2nd Class Michael Klimek mans the rails aboard the guided-missile cruiser USS Mobile Bay (CG 53) as the ship prepares to moor at Joint Joint Base Pearl Harbor-Hickam to participate in exercise Rim of the Pacific 2016. Twenty-six nations, more than 40 ships and submarines, more than 200 aircraft and 25,000 personnel are participating in RIMPAC from June 30 to Aug. 4, in and around the Hawaiian Islands and Southern California. The world's largest international maritime exercise, RIMPAC provides a unique training opportunity that helps participants foster and sustain the cooperative relationships that are critical to ensuring the safety of sea lanes and security on the world's oceans. RIMPAC 2016 is the 25th exercise in the series that began in 1971.

Pacific Partnership
LIGAO CITY, Philippines (June 28, 2016) - Lt. Gabrielle Jung, a Navy dentist and native of Aurora, Colorado (left), talks with a student at Ligao West Central Elementary School during Pacific Partnership 2016. Jung was at the school as part of a cooperative health engagement where Pacific Partnership 2016 personnel attached to hospital ship USNS Mercy (T-AH 19) and members of the Armed Forces of the Philippines spent the day educating people on health care, hygiene and nutrition. Participants also provided direct care services including optometry, dental care and physical therapy. Pacific Partnership is visiting the Philippines for the seventh time since its first mission in 2006. SATTAHIP, Thailand (June 21, 2016) Equipment Operator Constructionman Daniel McComas from Naval Mobile Construction Battalion (NMCB) 4 hammers construction pieces into place with Royal Thai Navy Seabees while building a library at Khao Chi Chan School during Cooperation Afloat Readiness and Training (CARAT) Thailand 2016. CARAT is a series of annual maritime exercises between the U.S. Navy, U.S. Marine Corps and the armed forces of nine partner nations to include Bangladesh, Brunei, Cambodia, Indonesia, Malaysia, the Philippines, Singapore, Thailand, and Timor-Leste.

U.S. MARINES CONDUCT AMPHIBIOUS EXERCISE WITH PHILIPPINE MARINE CORPS IN SOUTH CHINA SEA
In this file photo, U.S. Marines, assigned to Company Landing Team 2nd Battalion, 2nd Marines, conduct an amphibious exercise with service members of the Philippine Marine Corps.The service members participated in a number of classes and exercises with the Marines and Sailors aboard the USS Ashland (LSD 48) in support of exercise Cooperation Afloat Readiness and Training. CARAT is a series of annual, bilateral maritime exercises between the U.S. Navy, U.S. Marine Corps and the armed forces of nine partner nations to include Bangladesh, Brunei, Cambodia, Indonesia, Malaysia, Singapore, the Philippines, Thailand and Timor-Leste. PACFLT Holds MMCA Talks, Enhances Cooperation with PLA
PEARL HARBOR (May 25, 2016) - Military representatives from U.S. Pacific Fleet (PACFLT), U.S. Pacific Air Forces and the People's Republic of China (PRC) People's Liberation Army Navy and Air Force met for the Military Maritime Consultative Agreement (MMCA), from May 24-25, at Ford Island. The goal of the two-day talks was to strengthen ties through open communication between U.S. and PRC naval and air forces and to improve operational safety in the air and maritime environments.

Senate Homeland Security, Governmental Affairs Committee Staff Tour Emory S. Land
Sailors aboard the submarine tender USS Emory S. Land (AS 39) man the rails as the ship returns from deployment, April 11, 2016. The return to Guam is Emory S. Land's first, since changing homeport from Diego Garcia to Guam Dec. 23. Emory S. Land is an expeditionary submarine tender conducting coordinated tended moorings and afloat maintenance in the U.S. 5th and 7th Fleet areas of operations.

USS John C. Stennis Conducting Routine Operations in the South China Sea
SOUTH CHINA SEA (March 4, 2016) - The aircraft carrier USS John C. Stennis (CVN 74) participates in a replenishment at sea with the fast combat support ship USNS Rainier (T-AOE 7) and the guided-missile cruiser USS Mobile Bay (CG 53). Mobile Bay is receiving an advanced biofuel mixture from Rainier. Providing a ready force supporting security and stability in the Indo-Asia-Pacific, the ships are operating as part of the Great Green Fleet on a regularly scheduled 7th Fleet deployment.

U.S. Navy Builds International Relationships in India Fleet Review
VISAKHAPATNAM, India (Feb. 4, 2016) The Ticonderoga-class guided-missile cruiser USS Antietam (CG 54) anchors next to the the Arleigh Burke-class guided-missile destroyer USS McCampbell (DDG 85) during India’s International Fleet Review (IFR) 2016. IFR 2016 is an international military exercise hosted by the Indian Navy to help enhance mutual trust and confidence with navies from around the world. Antietam and McCampbell, forward deployed to Yokosuka, Japan, are on patrol in the 7th Fleet area of operations in support of security and stability in the Indo-Asia-Pacific.

Harry Harris, commander of U.S. Pacific Command, delivers remarks during the 74th National Pearl Harbor Remembrance Day ceremony at Joint Base Pearl Harbor-Hickam, Hawaii. The National Park Service and U.S. Navy co-hosted the ceremony, which featured Pulitzer Prize-winning historian Dr. David Kennedy as the keynote speaker and provided veterans, family members, and the community a chance to honor the sacrifices made by those who fought and lost their lives during the attack on Pearl Harbor 74 years ago.
