HIANG conducts AAR with IDAF
INDONESIA (Feb. 19, 2025) — An Indonesian Air Force (IDAF) F-16 Fighting Falcon flies alongside a Hawaii Air National Guard KC-135 Stratotanker assigned to the 203rd Air Refueling Squadron during an air-to-air refueling training mission over Indonesia, Feb. 19, 2025. This bilateral training, supported by the 154th Wing, enables IDAF pilots to recertify their F-16 air refueling qualifications while strengthening interoperability and regional security. PHILIPPINE SEA (Feb. 18, 2025) — A CH-53E Super Stallion helicopter, from the 31st Marine Expeditionary Unit (MEU) Air Combat Element (ACE) takes off from the flight deck of forward-deployed amphibious assault ship USS America (LHA 6) while conducting flight operations in the Philippine Sea, Feb. 18. America, lead ship of the America Amphibious Ready Group, along with the 31st Marine Expeditionary Unit, is operating in the U.S. 7th Fleet area of operations. 12th MLR Marines Execute a Fire and Movement Range

31st MEU | BLT 2/4 conducts Night TRAP Exercise
PHILIPPINE SEA (Feb. 13, 2025) — U.S. Marines with Battalion Landing Team 2/4, 31st Marine Expeditionary Unit, embark an U.S. Marine Corps MV-22 Osprey with Marine Medium Tiltrotor Squadron 262 (Rein.) aboard the amphibious assault ship USS America (LHA 6), during a tactical recovery of aircraft and personnel exercise in the Philippine Sea, Feb. 13, 2025. The TRAP exercise showcased advanced trauma life support capabilities and evaluated the platoon’s rapid response and recovery tactics of downed aircraft, personnel and equipment in isolated locations. PHILIPPINE SEA (Feb. 12, 2025) — Aircraft from the Carl Vinson Carrier Strike Group (VINCSG) and French Carrier Strike Group (CSG) fly in formation over the Philippine Sea with ships from VINCSG, French CSG, the Japan Maritime Self-Defense Force (JMSDF), and U.S. Military Sealift Command (MSC) during Pacific Steller 2025, Feb. 12.
