Commander, Fleet Activities Yokosuka Celebrates Its 75th Anniversary in 2020
Capt. Rich Jarrett, Commander, Fleet Activities Yokosuka (CFAY) commanding officer, unveiled a special command logo commemorating the command’s 75th year of promoting peace and partnership with Japan, CFAY’s host nation, Jan 1. In a year-long celebration that will last throughout 2020, CFAY will spotlight its past, present, and ongoing friendship with the City of Yokosuka and Japan.

Sicola Takes Command of 7th Fleet Flagship USS Blue Ridge
The official party renders a hand salute as colors are paraded during the U.S. 7th Fleet flagship USS Blue Ridge (LCC 19) change of command ceremony. Capt. Craig C. Sicola, of Dallas, relieved Capt. Eric J. Anduze, from Manati, Puerto Rico, as the ship's commanding officer. Blue Ridge, a part of Expeditionary Strike Group 7, is the oldest operational ship in the Navy and, as 7th Fleet command ship, actively works to foster relationships with allies and partners in support of security and stability within the Indo-Pacific Region.
