SWO Boss Visits Japan to Engage with Surface Warriors

YOKOSUKA, Japan - Vice Adm. Roy Kitchener, Commander, Naval Surface Force, U.S. Pacific Fleet, is greeted by Cmdr. Nick Hoffman, commanding officer of Arleigh Burke-class guided-missile destroyer USS Dewey (DDG 105). During a tour, Kitchener evaluated Dewey’s current state of readiness, met with Sailors and presented the crew with the 2021 Battle Effectiveness award.
