HONOLULU, Hawaii - PACIFIC OCEAN (April 26, 2021) Members of the U.S. Coast Guard Law Enforcement Detachment 104 and Sailors assigned to Independence-variant littoral combat ship USS Charleston (LCS 18) ride in a rigid-hull inflatable boat, April 26. Charleston is part of the Oceania Maritime Security Initiative (OMSI), a Secretary of Defense program leveraging Department of Defense assets transiting the region to increase the Coast Guard's maritime domain awareness, ultimately supporting its maritime law enforcement operation in Oceania.
