Alaska Air National Guard to receive four additional KC-135 Stratotankers at Eielson AFB

JOINT BASE ELMENDORF-RICHARDSON, Alaska - Two F-16C Fighting Falcons and two F-35A Lightning IIs from the 354th Fighter Wing, Eielson Air Force Base, Alaska, fly in formation behind a KC-135R Stratotanker from the 168th Wing, Alaska Air National Guard, Eielson AFB, over the Alaska Range, April 21, 2020. The formation represented the new addition of the F-35 to Eielson, which the strategic location and proximity to the Joint Pacific Alaska Range Complex make it the premier training location for fifth-generation fighter aircraft.
