NMCB-3 Works Around the Clock, Completes MOX & CPX

OKINAWA, Japan - Construction Mechanic 2nd Class Sean Kelly, from Fort Lauderdale, Fla., guides Equipment Operator 3rd Class Coltin Cogley, assigned to U.S. Naval Mobile Construction Battalion (NMCB) 3, as he lowers a tricon storage container with an 11K forklift during a 48-hour mount out exercise on board Camp Shields in Okinawa, Japan. NMCB-3 is deployed across the Indo-Pacific region conducting high-quality construction to support U.S. and partner nations to strengthen partnerships, deter aggression, and enable expeditionary logistics and naval power projection. The battalion stands ready to complete assigned tasking, support Humanitarian Aid/Disaster Relief and Major Combat Operations throughout the area of responsibility.
