KUNSAN AIR BASE, Republic of Korea - U.S. Air Force Airman 1st Class Porter Thornton, 8th Civil Engineer Squadron explosive ordnance disposal team member, uses a metal detector to look for a simulated land mine during routine training at Kunsan Air Base, Republic of Korea, April 28, 2020. EOD technicians train every month to perform explosive ordnance disposal operations by locating, identifying, disarming and disposing of a wide range of explosives to prepare them for any possible situation they might encounter.
