USS Alaska Sailors Visit Namesake State

ANCHORAGE, Alaska - Sailors from the Ohio-class ballistic missile submarine USS Alaska (SSBN 732) give a presentation to the Navy Junior Reserve Officers Training Corps (NJROTC) at Chugiak High School during a namesake visit to Anchorage, Alaska. Navy events such as the Alaska namesake visit are interactive ways to share what the Navy does for our country with a number of different communities. Alaska is one of five ballistic-missile submarines stationed at Naval Submarine Base Kings Bay, Georgia.
