DARWIN, Australia - Gen. CQ Brown, Jr., Pacific Air Forces commander, signs a guest book before an office call with Air Marshal Leo Davies (left), Royal Australian Air Force (RAAF) chief of Air Force, at the Russell offices, Canberra, Australia, Aug. 10, 2018. His first trip to the region since taking command on July 26, 2018, Brown met with key defense and military leaders in Canberra and RAAF Bases Williamtown, Tindal and Darwin to see first-hand the strength of the U.S.-Australia alliance and discuss opportunities to ensure a free and open Indo-Pacific region.
