Mark Snyder, Mobile Diving and Salvage Unit (MDSU) 1-5 company officer in charge, displays a MK55-Mod 0 firing device to a Republic of Korea (ROK) Navy diver during Salvage Exercise (SALVEX) Korea 2016. This exercise is a part of Exercise Foal Eagle, (an umbrella of regularly scheduled annual exercises), and allows the U.S. Navy to advance diving and salvage skills while enhancing theater security cooperation and maritime interoperability with regional navies.
