260807-M-AV302-1041 - HONIARA, Solomon Islands (Aug. 7, 2026) — U.S. Marines with Marine Rotational Force – Darwin 26 prepares for a ceremony commemorating the 84th anniversary of the Battle of Guadalcanal at the Guadalcanal American Memorial in Honiara, Solomon Islands, Aug. 7, 2026. The ceremony serves to honor the fallen and strengthen the U.S. relationship with the Solomon Islands and other Pacific allies and partners.
