The Republic of Korea and the United States held the 2025 ROK-U.S. Status of Forces Agreement Civil-Military Relations Subcommittee meeting on Nov. 6 in Seoul to strengthen cooperation and mutual understanding between Korean communities and U.S. Forces Korea. Co-chaired by Director Oh Chang-sae and Col. Ryan Donald, the two sides discussed initiatives to enhance civil-military ties, expand cultural and community exchange programs, and ensure the stable presence of U.S. forces. They also reviewed projects such as the Pyeongtaek Good Neighbor Program and activities marking the 75th anniversary of the United Nations Command, reaffirming their commitment to ongoing cooperation and communication.
