COLONEL ERNESTO RABINA AIR BASE, Philippines (May 26, 2025) — U.S. Marines with 3d Littoral Combat Team, 3d Marine Littoral Regiment, 3d Marine Division, engage targets during a high explosive in support of Exercise KAMANDAG 9 at Colonel Ernesto Rabina Air Base, Philippines, May 22, 2025. During the high explosive battle drill, the Marines employed the M3E1 Multi-Role Anti-Armor Anti-Personnel Weapon System, the Anti-Tank 4 Weapon System, the M72 Light Anti-Tank Weapon System and the M2 .50 caliber machine gun. KAMANDAG is an annual Philippine Marine Corps and U.S. Marine Corps-led exercise aimed at enhancing the Armed Forces of the Philippines’ defense and humanitarian capabilities by providing valuable training in combined operations with foreign militaries in the advancement of a free and open Indo-Pacific.
