PYEONGTAEK, GYEONGGIDO [KYONGGI-DO], South Korea - From right: Sharlene Tukumoe'atu and her son, Enoch, prepare "baechu" (cabbage) kimchi during a kimchi-making festival at Pyeongtaek University, Nov. 16, 2024. The kimchi will be donated to local organizations and community members in need, including orphanages, child care and elder care facilities. The 7th annual event, hosted by the Korean-American Children's Cultural Exchange Association, helps strengthen the ROK-US Alliance and bolster relationships in the local community.
