HONIARA, GUADALCANAL IS, Solomon Islands - U.S. Air Force Staff Sgt. Paolo DiGirolamo and Senior Airman Dylan Gross, Defense POW/MIA Accounting Agency (DPAA) recovery team members, shovel dirt during a recovery mission in Guadalcanal, Solomon Islands, Aug. 6, 2024. This mission was the first time the screening station and excavation site were geographically separated, requiring trucks to transport the dirt.
