Navy Vice Adm. John Wade, Commander of Joint Task Force-Red Hill (JTF-RH) and senior leaders meet with Amy Miller, Director of the Enforcement and Compliance Assurance Division, Region 9 - U.S. Environmental Protection Agency, and Kathleen Ho, Deputy Director for Environmental Health of the Hawaii Department of Health, to provide a status update on the Red Hill Bulk Fuel Storage Facility (RHBFSF) defueling process at JTF-RH Headquarters on Ford Island, Hawaii, March 17, 2023. JTF-RH is in phase three of its five-phase defueling plan. Vice Adm. John F. G. Wade is a native of Port Washington, New York. He is a 1990 graduate of the U.S. Naval Academy with a bachelor’s degree in Economics. He also holds a master’s degree in Information Systems Technology from the U.S. Naval Postgraduate School in Monterey, California, and a master’s degree in National Security Strategy from the National War College in Washington, District of Columbia.
