PACAF engages with Graduate students for Security Studies Program

U.S. Air Force Col. Scott Hoffman, Deputy Director of Pacific Air Forces Directorate of Strategy, Plans, and Programs, speaks to students from Massachusetts Institute of Technology at Joint Base Pearl Harbor-Hickam, Hawaii, March 23, 2022. Students visited JBPHH as part of a tour of military commands on the island of Oahu to learn about the Department of Defense’s role in ensuring a free and open Indo-Pacific. Participants in the program included Graduate and Doctorate-level students as well as five Active Duty military members from across the services, as part of their Senior Development Education requirements. The program emphasizes grand strategy, the causes and prevention of conflict, military operations and technology and defense policy.
