WASHINGTON, District of Columbia - In this file photo, USS Santa Fe (SSN 763) joins Royal Australian Navy Collins Class Submarines HMAS Collins, HMAS Farncomb, HMAS Dechaineux and HMAS Sheean in formation in the West Australian Exercise Area. Royal Australian Navy Collins Class Submarines HMAS Collins, HMAS Farncomb, HMAS Dechaineux and HMAS Sheean were joined in formation by United States Navy Submarine USS Santa Fe in the West Australian Exercise Area for a PHOTOEX in February 2019. The submarines were in the area to participate in a number of activities, including Exercise Lungfish 2019 and Exercise Ocean Explorer 2019.
