Joseph Rotar, a C-17 AFE technician, work together on a BA-22 Bailout Kit parachute Jan. 15, 2020, at Joint Base Elmendorf-Richardson, Alaska. AFE technicians work on dozens of pieces of equipment necessary for C-17 aircrew survival and life support.
