Keen Edge 2020 tests 38th Air Defense Artillery Brigade’s Ability to ‘Fight Tonight’

SAGAMIHARA, Japan - Lt. Col. James L. Crenshaw, deputy commanding officer, Maj. Michael G. Lowefarmer, operations officer, and Sgt. Maj. George Rupprecht, operations sergeant major, all with 38th Air Defense Artillery Brigade, provide feedback to Soldiers during Keen Edge 2020 at Sagami General Depot Jan. 24-31 to enhance both force posture and engagement operations. Keen Edge is a joint command post exercise conducted to increase combat readiness and synchronization between U.S. Forces Japan and the Japan Joint Staff to prepare them to effectively defend Japan or respond to a regional crisis in Japan.
