Hawaii Summit Addresses Importance of Global Integrated Air, Missile Defense

JOINT BASE PEARL HARBOR-HICKAM, Hawaii - Participants of the Integrated Air and Missile Defense Center summit pose in front of the Hawaii Air National Guard Headquarters building, Joint Base Pearl Harbor-Hickam, Hawaii, Sept. 10, 2019. The purpose of the event – in its fifth iteration – is to provide a forum to exchange information, share lessons learned and best practices across the three Integrated Air and Missile Defense Centers. During the three-day conference, 30 participants received briefings on regional and global threats, emerging U.S. integrated air and missile defense capabilities, and were updated by the different Integrated Air and Missile Defense Centers around the globe.
