SAGAMIHARA, Japan - Col. Patrick Costello, Charlottesville, Virginia native, 38th Air Defense Artillery Brigade commander, briefs Maj. Gen. Viet X. Luong, Bien Hoa, Vietnam native, commanding general, U.S. Army Japan on air defense capabilities during Shodan Watch at Sagami General Depot, Aug. 15. Shodan Watch was a month-long training exercise designed to ensure operational readiness across multiple domains and maintain 'Fight Tonight' readiness in protecting the Pacific Region.
