Staff Sgt. Miller provides translation between the brigade staff officers of the U.S. Army’s 1st Brigade, 25th Infantry Division and 34th Infantry Regiment of the Japan Ground Self-Defense Force during preparations for the opening ceremony of exercise Orient Shield 2017 at Camp Fuji, Japan. This was the first time Miller was tasked to support a bi-lateral exercise with Japanese forces as a translator.
