USS Milius Joins Forward Deployed Naval Forces in Yokosuka, Japan

YOKOSUKA, Japan - The Arleigh Burke-class guided missile-destroyer USS Milius (DDG 69) arrives at U.S. Fleet Activities (FLEACT) Yokosuka, to become part of the Forward Deployed Naval Forces (FDNF) in Japan. FLEACT Yokosuka provides, maintains, and operates base facilities and services in support of the 7th Fleet's forward-deployed naval forces, 71 tenant commands and more than 27,000 military and civilian personnel.
