KADENA AIR BASE, Okinawa, Japan - KitKat, 18th Security Forces Squadron military working dog, waits for his toy to be thrown by U.S. Air Force Staff Sgt. David Maestas, 18th SFS military working dog handler, during obedience training Dec. 12, 2017, at Kadena Air Base, Japan. Military working dogs have a packed day, involving building patrols, vehicle searches, aggression and obedience training, as well as other training scenarios to make sure they are fully prepared for anything in the field.
