170722-N-YG104-024 CORAL SEA (July 22, 2017) The Royal Australian Navy Anzac class frigate HMAS Toowoomba (FFH 156) steams behind the amphibious assault ship USS Bonhomme Richard (LHD 6) as ships from the U.S., Australia, and New Zealand sail together in formation to culminate Talisman Saber 17. Talisman Saber is a biennial U.S. bilateral exercise held off the coast of Australia meant to achieve interoperability and strengthen the U.S.-Australia alliance.
