170714-N-PA426-0007 PEARL HARBOR (July 14, 2017) The sun sets on the Navy’s newest Arleigh Burke-class guided-missile destroyer, the future USS John Finn (DDG 113) July 14 in preparation for its commissioning ceremony. DDG 113 is named in honor of Lt. John William Finn, who as a chief aviation ordnanceman was the first member of our armed services to earn the Medal of Honor during World War II for heroism during the attack on Pearl Harbor.
