Arleigh Burke-class guided-missile destroyer USS Dewey (DDG 105) exits the harbor as part of the Sterett-Dewey Surface Action Group (SAG). The Sterett-Dewey SAG is the third deploying group operating under the command and control construct called 3rd Fleet Forward, March 31. 2017. The first iteration in recent history occurred in 2016 with the Pacific Surface Action Group (PACSAG) deployment and was further executed with the January 2017 deployment of the Carl Vinson Strike Group.
