OSAN AIR BASE, Republic of Korea (Aug. 18, 2015) - Airmen assigned to the 51st Fighter Wing prepare to decontaminate themselves following a simulated chemical attack. The Airmen were practicing the procedures to safely enter a collective protection system dormitory. The collective protection system (CPS) is a standby system within designated facilities that is activated when there is a chemical or biological threat. The CPS function is also used for facility occupants and shelter management team training during exercises.
