SEACAT Enhances Cooperative Maritime Security Between Navies in Southeast Asia
Liaison officers from participating countries of Southeast Asia Cooperation and Training (SEACAT) 2016 review a training brief to prepare for the exercise at Yankee Station, Aug. 19. SEACAT is multilateral exercise held annually with nine participating countries including the United States, Brunei, Indonesia, Malaysia, the Philippines, Cambodia, Bangladesh, Singapore, and Thailand.

Filling Bigger Boots at Rim of the Pacific 2016
KAWAIHAE PIER, Hawaii (July 12, 2016) – U.S. Marine Sgt. Max T. Humphreys (center) discusses gear and personnel movement during the 2nd Royal Australian Regiment's arrival to port at the Kawaihae Pier, Hawaii, from the HMAS Canberra July 12, 2016. The soldiers and Marines are participating in Rim of the Pacific 2016, a multinational military exercise, from June 29 to Aug. 4 in and around the Hawaiian Islands. RIMPAC helps the United States Marine Corps integrate joint and combined capabilities to conduct amphibious, offensive, defensive, and stability operations. Humphreys, a native of Pueblo, Colorado, is an embarkation specialist with Transportation Support Company, Combat Logistics Battalion 3, which supports III Marine Expeditionary Force.

Pacific Surface Action Group visits Singapore
CHANGI NAVAL BASE, Singapore (July 2, 2016) - Sailors assigned to the guided-missile destroyer USS Spruance (DDG 111) man the rails while a Singaporean tugboat guides Spruance into its berth pier side. Spruance, along with the guided-missile destroyers USS Momsen (DDG 92) and USS Decatur (DDG 73), are deployed in support of maritime security and stability in the Indo-Asia-Pacific as part of a U.S. 3rd Fleet Pacific Surface Action Group (PAC SAG) under CDS 31.

B-52 Bomber capabilities, presence in Pacific
Two U.S. Air Force B-52 Stratofortress bombers assigned to the 69th Expeditionary Bomb Squadron from Andersen Air Force Base, Guam, fly overhead the U.S. Navy USS Spruance (DDG 111) guided missile destroyer following a joint-service bombing exercise in the Pacific Ocean, June 15, 2016. US Navy and PLAN Officials Meet During USS Blue Ridge's Port Visit in Shanghai
SHANGHAI (May 7, 2016) - Vice Adm. Joseph Aucoin, commander of U.S. 7th Fleet, his staff take part in a roundtable discussion with Rear Adm. Wang Hai, deputy commander of the People's Liberation Army (Navy) and his staff at Shanghai Naval Garrison Headquarters. The U.S. 7th Fleet flagship USS Blue Ridge is currently on patrol in the Indo-Asia Pacific to build partnerships for the security and stability of the region.
