Military Sealift Command delivers essentials, rolls out Exercise Cobra Gold
CHUK SAMET, Thailand-A humvee is offloaded from the Military Sealift Command’s Surge Sealift, Roll-on/Roll-off ship USNS MAJ Stephen W. Pless (T-AK 3007) here, Jan. 28. The Pless, carrying more than 470 items, is one of two MSC ships delivering equipment for Exercise Cobra Gold, one of the largest multilateral exercises in the Asia-Pacific region. The Pless is concurrently participating in Pacific Pathway 16-1, an operation that supports three exercises.
