CAMP GENERAL EMILIO AGUINALDO, Philippines - U.S. Army Spc. Justin Xu, 1st Multi-Domain Effects Battalion, and New Zealand Army Lance Cpl. Liam Van Der Mespel, 1st Command Support Regiment, analyze data for Blue Team 6 during the Balikatan 2026 cyber defense exercise at Camp Aguinaldo, Philippines, April 29, 2026. The U.S. Indo-Pacific Command J7 Pacific Multi-Domain Training and Experimentation Capability provided the Deployable Cyber Range and tech support to allow cyber defenders from seven nations to practice identifying, mitigating, and responding to realistic cyber threats. Participants shared tools, tactics and procedures to grow their skill sets and build interoperability for collective cyber defense. Balikatan is a longstanding annual exercise between the Armed Forces of the Philippines and U.S. military that represents the strength of our alliance, improves our capable combined force, and demonstrates our commitment to regional peace and prosperity.
