Hawaii Guard members persevere against two natural disasters

KEAUKAHA, Hawaii - Staff Sgt. William Muira, from the Hawaii National Guard's CBRNE Enhanced Response Force Package (CERFP) Team, escorts FEMA Urban Search and Rescue members from California Task Force 3 while they perform a wide area assessment in the wake of Hurricane Lane in Kea'au, Hawaii on August 27, 2018. The task force was equipped with Android Team Awareness Kit (ATAK) mobile devices. The ATAK equipment provides imagery data, map overlays and information sharing to facilitate enhanced collaboration and situational awareness for operations in disaster relief efforts.
