EIELSON AIR FORCE BASE, Alaska - Retired U.S. Army Master Sgt. Leroy Petry, a Medal of Honor recipient, smiles after his presentation to Airmen from the 354th Fighter Wing, July 26, 2018, at Eielson Air Force Base, Alaska. Petry received the Medal of Honor after his heroic actions during a mission on May 26, 2008, in Paktia Province, Afghanistan, where a detonation amputated his right arm.
