The two generals also visited a line of B-1B Lancers at Andersen Air Force Base, as well as boarded the visiting ballistic missile submarine USS Pennsylvania at Naval Base Guam.

US, ROK Sailors Volunteer Together to Support Busan Community
BUSAN, Republic of Korea (Oct. 19, 2016) - Petty Officer 3rd Class (AW) Risa Nielsen, from Oxnard, California, assigned to the Navy’s only forward-deployed aircraft carrier, USS Ronald Reagan (CVN 76), participates in a cultural exchange with students during a community relations event at Daecheon Middle School. Ronald Reagan is on patrol with Carrier Strike Group 5 supporting security and stability in the Indo-Asia-Pacific region.

Congressional Staff Delegates Visit Korea
YONGSAN ARMY GARRISON, SEOUL -- United States Congressional Staff Delegates, Steve Barney, Senate Armed Services Committee (SASC) Majority General Counsel; Gary Leeling, SASC Minority General Counsel; Jim Hickey, Senior Military Advisor to Arizona Senator John McCain; Samantha Clark, SASC Deputy General Counsel; Al Edwards, SASC Majority Counsel; and Jon Clark, SASC Majority Counsel visited the Brian Allgood Army Community Hospital (BAACH) October 18, 2016. The delegation received a command brief from the Medical Department Activity Command Korea Commander and 65th Medical Brigade Commander, Col. Wendy Harter and Col. Erica Clarkson, BAACH Commander. They were also briefed on the Army Substance Abuse Program transition to the medical command. While at the BAACH, the delegation had lunch at the hospital dining facility with select soldiers followed by a tour of the facility focusing on primary care, physical therapy, emergency department and a tour of the transition to hostilities storage warehouse.

'Devil' brigade hosts CBRN Academy on Camp Casey
CAMP CASEY, South Korea -- Soldiers from the 1st Armored Brigade Combat Team, 1st Infantry Division, learn how to use a chemical agent detector kit with the guidance of a chemical, biological, radiological and nuclear training instructor at Camp Casey, South Korea Oct. 16. The "Devil" brigade Soldiers participated in the two-day course in order to learn how to protect themselves from CBRN attack as well as how to detect and identify hazardous substances.

CJCS Hosts ROK Counterpart for 41st ROK-MCM
Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff General Joseph F. Dunford hosted his Republic of Korea counterpart Gen. Lee Sun Jin for the 41st ROK-U.S. Military Committee Meeting at the Pentagon. Both senior military leaders strongly denounced North Korea's nuclear and missile provocations, stating they pose a serious threat to the Korean Peninsula, to the region, and to global peace and stability.

CAMP CASEY, South Korea - Medics of Headquarters and Headquarters Battery, 210th Field Artillery Brigade and flight medics of 2nd Aviation Regiment practice loading a patient on a hovering helicopter using a SKEDCO litter tag line, Oct 6, at Helipad-252 on Camp Casey. The tag line for the SKEDCO enables the ground providers to stabilize the patient while they are hoisted on to the helicopter.

The memorial ceremony was a tie-in event to the Battle for Nakdong River Victory Celebration.
