YOKOSUKA, Japan (Feb. 11, 2016) Damage Controlman Fireman Daniel Mcneil,right, attached to the U.S. 7th Fleet flagship USS Blue Ridge (LCC 19), helps Damage Controlman Fireman Jessica Closser don a Self Contained Breathing Apparatus (SCBA) mask during a drill. Blue Ridge is currently moored at Commander, Fleet Activities Yokosuka, finishing the final preparations for its 2016 patrol cycle.

BUSAN, Republic of Korea (Aug. 17, 2015) - Swedish Maj. Gen. Mats Engman, left, head of policy and plans Department for the Swedish Armed Forces and Swedish Neutral Nations Supervisory Commission (NNSC) member, and Swiss Maj. Gen. Urs Gerber, center, head of the Swiss delegation to the NNSC, tour the bridge of the U.S. 7th Fleet flagship USS Blue Ridge (LCC 19) as part of an observation tour during exercise Ulchi Freedom Guardian. The NNSC provides transparency to the international community by ensuring planning and operations are conducted in a "defensive and deterrent" nature.
