A C-130 assigned to the North Carolina Air National Guard, drops bundles of rice over Baucau Airport, Sept. 8, 2015, near Baucau, Timor-Leste. The rice was donated to a local orphanage as part of Operation Pacific Angel 15-2. Team Kadena wraps up ATR in Tsuiki
KADENA AIR BASE, Japan (Sept. 2, 2015) - Members of the 44th Aircraft Maintenance Unit perform a final check before an F-15 Eagle takes off Tsuiki Air Base. The members deployed to Tsuiki, Japan, to participate in a two-week Aviation Training Relocation from Kadena Air Base, Japan, to help build interoperability between the two forces. The U.S.-Japan security alliance has remained the cornerstone of peace and security in the Indo-Asia-Pacific region for 50 years.

Airmen share forward aerial refueling tactics with Aussies
United States Airmen from the 18th Logistics Readiness Squadron from Kadena Air Base, Japan, partnered with the Australian Army during a refueling exercise at the Royal Australian Air Force Base Darwin, July 8 in Darwin, Australia, during Talisman Sabre 2015. Talisman Sabre is a biennial exercise that provides an invaluable opportunity for nearly 30,000 U.S. and Australian defense forces to conduct operations in a combined, joint and interagency environment that will increase both countries’ ability to plan and execute a full range of operations from combat missions to humanitarian assistance efforts.

Global Hawk returns to Misawa
MISAWA AIR BASE, Japan (July 2, 2015) - An RQ-4 Global Hawk is towed off the runway after landing. This is one of several Global Hawks to arrive at Misawa for a summer to winter rotation. The aircraft will begin local area checks before its first operational flight in early July.
