INDIAN OCEAN (July 12th, 2015) - Sailors onboard Landing Craft Utility (LCU) 1666, assigned to Naval Beach Unit (NBU) 7, wait to take on equipment from the amphibious dock landing ship USS Ashland (LSD 48) during a beach exercise for Talisman Sabre 2015. Talisman Sabre is a bilateral exercise intended to train Australian and U.S. forces in planning and conducting combined task force operations.

Combined Joint Logistics Over-the-Shore 2015
COMBINED ARMS TRAINING CENTER CAMP FUJI, Japan (July 27, 2015) - Marines with Combat Logistics Company 36 navigate through training grounds during Exercise Dragon Fire 2015. Using only a map, protractor and compass, service members navigated in an unfamiliar, highly vegetated terrain with limited time to complete their mission. Exercise Dragon Fire is conducted annually allowing service members to strengthen their combat readiness, a vital asset to the Marine Corps' mission.

Millinocket arrives in the Federated States of Micronesia
150621-N-TW039-034 Kolonia, POHNPEI (June 21, 2015) - The Military Sealift Command joint high speed vessel USNS Millinocket (JHSV 3) prepares to pull pier side in Kolonia, Pohnpei, the Federated States of Micronesia June 21. The Federated States of Micronesia is the ship’s second stop of Pacific Partnership 2015. Millinocket is serving as the secondary platform for Pacific Partnership, led by an expeditionary command element from the Navy’s 30th Naval Construction Regiment (30 NCR) from Port Hueneme, Calif. Now in its 10th iteration, Pacific Partnership is the largest annual multilateral humanitarian assistance and disaster relief preparedness mission conducted in the Indo-Asia Pacific Region. While training for crisis conditions, Pacific Partnership, missions have provided medical care to approximately 270,000 patients and veterinary service to more than 38,000 animals. KEKAHA, Hawaii (June 8, 2015) Military, NASA, and Jet Propulsion Laboratory members observe NASA's low-density supersonic decelerator (LDSD) test vehicle trajectory after its launch from U.S. Navy's Pacific Missile Range Facility in Kauai, Hawaii. NASA's LDSD project is designed to investigate and test breakthrough technologies for landing future robotic and human Mars missions, and safely returning large payloads to Earth.
