Ambassador Sung Kim, Special Representative for North Korea Policy Travel to Seoul, Hanoi, and Phnom Penh

WASHINGTON -- Special Representative for North Korea Policy Ambassador Sung Kim will travel to the Republic of Korea, Vietnam, and Cambodia March 20-24.

While in Seoul, Ambassador Kim will meet with ROK Special Representative for Korean Peninsula Affairs Kim Hong-kyun and other senior officials to continue our close coordination on North Korea policy. To discuss implementation of UN Security Council Resolution of 2270 and other sanctions efforts, Ambassador Kim will be joined by Coordinator for Sanctions Policy Ambassador Daniel Fried.

In Hanoi and Phnom Penh, Ambassador Kim will hold meetings with senior officials to discuss a broad range of issues related to North Korea, including implementation of UN Security Council Resolution 2270.

Ambassador Kim will return to Washington, D.C. on March 24.
