Philippine Air Force and United States Marine Corps Scheduled to Conduct Bilateral Tactical Exercise

19 August 2015

From Staff Report

Philippine Air Force and United States Marine Corps are scheduled to participate in Bilateral Tactical Exercise from August 20-31. The exercise, involving six F-18 USMC aircraft, is designed to improve bi-lateral procedures and practices for air-to-air and air-to ground operations and build upon interoperability/partnership between the two forces.

Aircraft are scheduled to fly out of Clark Air Base during the exercise. Training will involve PAF and USMC aircraft conducting Close Air Support in Crow Valley Range.  Local residents should expect an increase in air-traffic noise and explosions within the range.
