Lieutenant Dave Chesson from the U.S. Embassy delivered donated equipment today to assist with demining efforts in the former war-affected areas of Sri Lanka.  This particular shipment is valued at nearly 300 million Sri Lankan rupees and just a part of continuing U.S. assistance with demining efforts across the country since 2009.  Major General Lasantha Wickramasuriya, Chief Field Engineer, and Brigadier Jagath Gunawardane, Commander Engineer Brigade, received the donated equipment from the U.S. Embassy.
